On some Wiki they have a "[=Homepages=]" for each of the members and these are listed at a
CatagoryHomePage (for example) but here at the GlobalVillages we use a ProfilesPage that is within the "Profiles" PmWiki/WikiGroup. Each member has a ProfilesPage that can be linked to from any WikiPage by this script [=YourName] and this personal contact page can be used to link to any of your PersonalSpace, such as a PersonalLog, or a PersonalWiki or ProjectWiki that you can build within our Wiki. This provides an enhanced level of communication and collaboration among our members.
The ProfilesPage provides some personal information (and links to other pages if you want to provide more background). We reserve the catagory of [=Homepage=] for the "[=YourName/YourNameHomepage=]", which is the Homepage of a PersonalWiki. Your PersonalWiki is the hub of all your PersonalSpace and this [=Profiles/YourName=] is the gateway into that space. However, activites and changes in your PersonalSpace are not reported at the [=GlobalVillages/RecentChanges=] because they are about personal communications rather than community wide collaborative work. What we can do is check the [=Profiles/RecentChanges=] in order to track [Profiles/RecentChanges Member Activity], which is a "feed" to notify the community of personal communications and changes in our PersonalSpace that could be of interest to others.
Therefore, you use [=Profiles/YourName=] to announce changes and new developments at your PersonalWiki or Log and ProjectWiki where you participate.
